You are not alone. Suit Up For Jack s an ongoing worldwide blood donor awareness campaign driven by cosplayers. Inspired by 12 year old\u00a0<a href=\"file:\/\/\/Users\/tim\/Desktop\/websites\/Jackandholo\/suitup\/who-is.html\">Jack Malott-Clarke<\/a>, a cosplayer with Severe Aplastic Anaemia, the campaign enlists cosplayers to donate blood in costume to help kids who&#8217;s medical conditions require blood donations. In addition to their blood donation, the very act of donating in costume draws attention and creates awareness for both blood donation and the need for blood. Cosplayers use the hashtag #suitupforjack when posting their donation on social media bringing even more awareness to the campaign. Currently cosplayers have participated in 6 countries globally with hopes of more countries participating. Cosplay is also about self-expression and community. Some cosplayers cosplay for fun; others for competition. There are also cosplayers who use their hobby to bring good to the world. These cosplayers visit sick kids in hospitals, attend charity fund raising events and also SuitUpForJack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cosplayers learn about Suit Up For Jack through fellow cosplayers or social media. They donate blood at their local clinic.
